MONKEYS
Across Africa and Asia, these images follow primates in their natural environments. From the most remote places to those inhabited by humans. What emerges is a constant tension between instinct and intelligence. A strong sense of group, hierarchy, connection alongside moments of solitude, play or confrontation. Their behavior reveals complexity, curiosity, strategy, caution and sometimes conflict. They can be calm, almost contemplative, then suddenly unpredictable, driven by impulses that remain deeply wild. There is something familiar in their gestures, in the way they interact, observe or react and at the same time, a clear distance. This series looks at that duality : animals capable of closeness and subtlety, yet never separated from their raw nature.
