HARVEST, WORKING THE LAND
Before anything reaches us, it begins here. In fields, on hillsides, across plantations in the hands of those who work the land every day. From tea pickers in Sri Lanka to farmers in more remote regions, the work is precise, repetitive and deeply rooted in the rhythm of the earth. It demands patience, endurance and an understanding that is often invisible. A knowledge passed on, lived, and rarely spoken. These gestures : harvesting, carrying, sorting, sustain more than a crop. They sustain a way of life and quietly, they sustain us. This series is a tribute to those who cultivate, gather and shape the land and to the essential, often unseen work that feeds the world.
