DEVOTION
This body of work documents Buddhist monks across different regions of Asia. Beyond the visual identity of robes and temples, it focuses on daily life : routines, rituals, learning, and the structure that shapes monastic life. From early morning prayers to study, movement, and moments of pause, these images observe a disciplined way of living built on repetition and transmission. Despite cultural differences between countries, a common framework remains. Rules, hierarchy and a shared commitment to a spiritual path. This is not a symbolic or idealized view, but a grounded look at what devotion means in practice.
